A video published by the so-called Islamic State (IS) group’s media centre has purported to show images and last statements of nine people who took part in the Paris attacks that killed 130 people.
The video was uploaded to the group’s official Telegram channel and shows some of the attackers wearing camouflage fatigues in a desert location, before the time of the Paris attacks.
In it, the militants, speaking in French and in Arabic, say their “message is addressed to all the countries taking part in the (US-led) coalition” that has been fighting IS in Syria and Iraq since September 2014.
The graphic video features beheadings and a firing squad execution, in which the attackers take part. Bilal Hadfi, who was killed during the Paris attacks is apparently responsible for one of the beheadings. The video also allegedly features one of the Bataclan theater attackers and a suicide bomber Omar Ismail Mostefai, named in the video as Abu Rayyan al-Faransi.
Asked about the video by Reuters news agency, the French Foreign Ministry did not want to comment.
On the night of November 13, nine men, split into three groups, attacked the Stade de France stadium, a string of cafes in the northeast of Paris, and the Bataclan concert hall.
