NATO airstrikes killed Afghan civilians; Taliban attacks killed foreign invaders

NATO invaders have conducted at least two airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Kunar and Laghman provinces killing at least 24 civilians.

The airstrike in Laghman province took the lives of eight women and injured several others on Sunday, local witnesses said.

In Kunar province, the foreign invaders killed 16 civilians in an airstrike also carried out on Sunday.

Many civilians have lost their lives in the US-led operations in various parts of Afghanistan over the past months, with Afghans becoming increasingly outraged at the seemingly endless number of the deadly assaults.

Meanwhile, the Taliban Resistance Movement have carried out attacks in revenge for a US-made film that insults Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In one of these attacks, six American soldiers, apparently members of the Special Forces unit where killed in southern Afghanistan.

Another attack targeting British invaders killed two soldiers in the southern province of Helmand, UK’s Ministry of Defence announced on Saturday.

According to NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), the latest incidents are so-called green-on-blue attacks in which Afghan regime members kill foreign invaders.

ISAF said that such attacks have caused the deaths of 51 of its troops in Afghanistan.
